Book Description from Amazon:
Just
when Lizzie thought the only problems she had in life were her crazy family and
far too many nightmares, the house reveals yet another secret. This time it’s a
skeleton in the back yard. But the
unusual thing about this skeleton is that it has an extra hand. Why? Well that’s what Lizzie wants to find out. But
nothing is that easy is it?
Plus
her drop dead gorgeous boyfriend Riley’s had enough of her nightmares and wants
her to get professional help. Only when that professional help comes in the
form of a long legged blonde who just happens to be Riley’s ex-girlfriend,
Lizzie feels reluctant to reveal her deepest, darkest fears. Especially when her deepest, darkest fear is
losing Riley to a long legged blonde ex-girlfriend. But this blonde seems to have
a particular interest in Lizzie’s life.
Is it just Riley she’s after? Or is there another reason she always
seems to be around whenever Lizzie’s life is in danger?
Near
misses with death, a super hot policeman with a crush, Grandma’s new boyfriend,
a garden full of senior citizens, and Bradley the owner of Westport Tours, all
make Lizzie’s life interesting to say the least.
But
can she find the truth before the For Sale sign gets hammered into the ground? Or
will Lizzie take the secrets to an early grave?
What
is your preferred genre?
Anything
fun really but romance/mystery is my favourite.
How
many books have you written?
This
is the second full novel in this series and is a sequel to It Started With A
House, but I also have a Christmas novella that follows Lizzie. Westport is a busy town though, and my other
full length novel, Killer Unleashed, follows another resident named Chloe.
Do
you have plans for a new book?
Yes! I love Lizzie and Riley and have already
started work on their next adventure
Is
there an Author that you would really like to meet?
Many,
but my absolute favourites would be Gemma Halliday, Janet Evanovich and Sophie
Kinsella
Was
there an Author that inspired your writing?
Yes. All of the above
Do
you plot or write by the seat of your pants?
I
have an outline of where I’d like the story to go, but generally I fill in the
blanks by the seat of my pants
Did
you have an editor edit your books?
Yes. The wonderful Juanita Kees, Kees2Create.com
Do
you prefer ebooks, paperbacks or hardcover?
All
of them!!
Are
you a self- published (Indie) Author?
Yes
but I also have a publisher for some of the series
Is
there a particular movie that you preferred over the book version?
No. I love movies but books always tell more of
the story.
What
book are you currently reading and in what format (ebook/paperback/hardcover)?
I’m
currently reading Gemma Halliday’s latest Deadly in High Heels and this one is
an ebook, but I’m waiting impatiently for the new book from Janet Evanovich in
the Wicked series
Who
designed the cover of your book?
The
wonderful Patti Roberts J
Do
you find yourself intrigued by the cover of a book enough to buy it?
Definitely. If I don’t like the cover I probably won’t
look any closer at it
Do
you ever write in your PJ’s?
Ha
ha. Of course. Doesn’t everyone??
You
are trapped on a tropical island - who would you like to
be stranded with?
Do
you want my real life answers or my fantasy answers? J
Real
life – my husband of course, but in my fantasy I’d love to be stranded with
Ranger from the Stephanie Plum series.
Even though he’d probably get us off the island a little bit too
quickly!
Pick
one - Wine, Chocolate or shoes
No
question – Chocolate!!
Cats
or dogs?
Both
but dogs first
How
many hours per day do you try to devote to research and writing?
I
try to do at least six, but sometimes I’m really motivated and do more. Then
again sometimes I procrastinate and don’t do much other than google my favorite
authors, check out the local real estate market and maybe peruse eBay!
What
are 3 things you never leave home without (apart from keys, money and phone)?
Lipgloss
is about it
Laptop
or desktop for writing?
Mostly
desktop but I do have my laptop for those days where I feel like going to the
beach
Your
thoughts on receiving book reviews - the good and the bad –
I
love book reviews. It’s really
encouraging to hear what people really think of your books. Even the bad ones have a purpose. Sometimes they highlight something you may
have not noticed. So long as they’re not
mean of course.
Do
you have a bucket list?
Not
really. I have a few holidays that I
want to take but that’s about it.
List
3 of your favorite movies?
While
you were sleeping (I love Sandra Bullock – this movie just makes me happy), The
Avengers (for the eye candy of course) and Blindside
What
is a movie or TV show that you watched just recently and really enjoyed?
I’m
a bit of a man really. One of my
favourite shows is American Restoration! I love the way they bring old things
back to life.
