MY BOOKS: EASIEST SHORT /LONG TERM PLAN FOR SAVING MONEY & GROWING UP, POETRY

Book Description:   Easiest Short/ Long Term Plan For Saving Money -  It's been said to pay yourself first, to save at least 10% of your earnings but why stop at 10%?  Why not 20%, etc?  The problem is that most people may not be able to set aside 10% of their earnings, let alone 20% - 30%.  My plan begins with only 2 steps & teaches you how to save money more easily and better.  My plan makes it more affordable for everyone to be able to save money regardless of your occupation, debts, location, income, & etc. My money savings plan is unique  -  in that you can visually see what you'll save before it happens;  easy to understand -  as uses basic math and you don't have to be a financial guru or investor to use this plan;  & is universal -  benefits everyone, as those working a 9 - 5 job, saving money for retirement,  or a vacation.  The possibilities are endless using this plan!!  It's the only money savings plan out there of its kind!!

Growing Up, Poetry -  When you're young the world seems new.  This book is a collection of poems that captures that Spirit of Youth.  It brings back the emotions that one can experience for all ages at the arrival of Spring or when school is out.  These are poems that everyone can enjoy for years to come.  For ages 2 - 7 years old, although adults like the book also. One can experience the joys of childhood with whimsical pictures & poems.  My book gives everyone a sense of peace and happiness.  It inspires children to care about saving the environment & savor the innocence of youth.  There are poems about a puppy, a kitten, stars, the seasons, & saving the environment, and many more.

What inspired you to start writing, and when? I started out with writing in Junior High School when my teacher had our class to create a poetry book listing some of our most favorite children's poems or other types of poetry and we had to include with this class project two poems that we had to make up ourselves. Later on, in 2009, is when I began writing my poems and my savings plan.  It was at this time that I decided to make them into a book.

What is your preferred genre?   Self-help books, children's books, and poetry.  A scary story in the works.

How many books have you written?  I have written 2 books and are not a part of a series.

Does your easiest money savings plan really help people and can you use it still if you are being paid minimum wage? Yes, My book has helped lots of people who are on their way to a safe and secure money savings plan and yes, you can still use this plan if you get paid minimum wage.  QUOTE from Blue Ink Review:  "Out of all the personal finance books out there on the market, Jennelle L. White's Easiest Short/Long Term Plan For Saving Money has the most truthful title."

Do you have plans for a new book?   Yes, possibly 2 -3 new books.

Is there an Author that you would really like to meet?   Yes, there are several.  JK Rowling, RL Stein,
JannellTaylor's, and authors/writers involved with Sesame Street and others.

Was there an Author that inspired your writing?
For my poetry, it was the Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes that I loved to read when I was little.

Do you prefer ebooks, paperbacks or hardcover?  I like the concept of e-books but I prefer paperbacks and hardcover books.

Are you a self- published (Indie) Author?   Yes

What book are you currently reading and in what format (ebook/paperback/hardcover)?
The Archies -  paperback
The Dogmen/"Werewolf" Encounters - North America. - paperback

Who designed the cover of your book?
I designed the covers of both of my books.

Do you find yourself intrigued by the cover of a book enough to buy it?
Yes, definitely.  Especially, the romance novels.

Do you have any advice for other writers starting out?
Write from your heart, what you are passionate about.

Do you write under a pen name?   No.

Do you ever write in your PJ’s?  Yes,  sometimes.

What are your pet peeves?  My biggest pet peeves are the abuse of farm animals and littering, polluting the Earth.
No one,  not even animals deserve to be abused.  I pray for the abuse of animals to STOP.

You are trapped on a tropical island - who would you like to be stranded with?
Other than my best friend, David W,  I would not mind at all being stranded with Michael Praed.

Pick one - Wine, Chocolate or shoes?   Hands down, Chocolate.

Cats or dogs?  Both, I love animals.

Tell us about someone or something that just made your day -
My best friend, when he takes me out for dinner at a restaurant of my choice for my birthday. When Actor, Mr. Tom Atkins had them call me overhead at the Scarefest to come and p/u my camera as left it near his booth and the fact that he knew my name and put it in a safe place until I could go back to retrieve it.  He is an awesome Actor and very nice.

Sleep in or get up early? I work nightshift, so I really don' t sleep in at night and I do not like to get up early, mostly because of the shift I work on.

Laptop or desktop for writing?  I write on paper but if I could choose, I'd prefer a Laptop.

Where and when do you prefer to do your writing?  I prefer to do my writing at night and when I go to the parks during daytime hours.

Your thoughts on receiving book reviews - the good and the bad -  Book reviews can be tricky sometimes but I tend to think that everyone has an opinion and when you are putting yourself out there you may get either good reviews or bad reviews. I always hope to receive good reviews.  Sometimes, I wonder if one gets a bad review is it because that person is jealous because they did not come up with the idea first or just being sarcastic.  You go into this realizing that maybe not everyone is going to like your work.  As an author, we all hope to receive good reviews for our books.

Do you have a bucket list?   Yes, I want to go camping, fly a helicopter, travel, and go see Jerusalem - where Jesus lived.  Also, take care of baby animals.

Author spotlight - Who is Chariss K. Walker?

Who is Chariss K. Walker?
Chariss K Walker, B. Msc., M. Div., writes both fiction and nonfiction books that share metaphysical insight... what some would call paranormal occurrences.
Chariss has said that each step she's taken in life has led to this very moment. She encourages others to understand that each experience, whether considered a blessing or a mistake, was the right choice to make at that time. She says, "It’s the reconciliation and acceptance of the choices we’ve made that turn those experiences from fear to love." Chariss has many life lessons to share through her writings.
A lifelong student, she’s studied religion and metaphysics extensively for many years through seminars, e-courses, home-study courses, self-help books, and earning educational degrees (Bachelors of Metaphysical Sciences and Masters of Divinity). She’s been known to read two and three books at once in a quest to understand and share with others what she’s learned. However, her real qualifications matter more: life experiences, true insight, and helping others. In 2001, Chariss completed the highest degree attainable as Reiki Master/Teacher. She shares metaphysical and esoteric concepts studied for over thirty years in both nonfiction and fiction writings.

Why a writer?
Chariss began reading and writing even before her formal education began. She says, “The words simply made sense to me. I always knew I would become a published author, but the dream wasn't realized until 2008. Life kept getting in the way.”

Book Genres?
“I’ve written about everything…usually the stuff no one wants to talk about. The stuff that isn’t considered polite conversation, such as abuse, rape, incest, death and grief. The dark and dirty secrets that families keep hidden make my writings dark, very dark. My favorite fiction genres include crime, thriller, paranormal. My favorite nonfiction genres are centered around inspirational and personal growth topics in body, mind, and spirit. Because I'm a wounded healer, I accept the dichotomy, allowing me to write both easily.”
You might find it strange for an author to write such a mixture, but her fiction book characters have superhuman/supernatural/paranormal abilities and gifts. The knowledge about these aspects comes from the study of all things "metaphysical," a category that can't be explained by science. For example, there really are "auras" and "chakras" and some people can see them. People do dream "dreams" that come true. “Child-eyes” is a very real state of being. Although her nonfiction books discuss these topics, her fiction books are also filled with insight. Some characters listen to their inner voice, some see visions, some receive messages, and some experience spiritual transformation.

There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy. ~~ Hamlet (1.5.167-8), Hamlet to Horatio/Shakespeare.

Screenwriter Turned Author Mylo Carbia Releases Title of Debut Horror Novel

Screenwriter Turned Author Mylo Carbia Releases Title of Debut Horror Novel

Sources close to ‘The Queen of Horror’ Mylo Carbia have released the first draft cover and title of her upcoming book, “The Raping of Ava DeSantis.” Although the storyline is still under wraps, sources close to us say that the book tackles the aftermath of a college-based gang rape, spinning a classic horror story from the victim of that crime seeking justice.

Given the early controversy and buzz from horror fans across the globe (including Mylo’s 65,000 followers on Twitter) the book is rumored to have been picked up by a traditional publishing house and the release date may be moved up from early 2016 to right before Halloween.

Carbia has penned several independent horror films under her own name but is best known as Hollywood’s number one horror film ghostwriter. Her work most likely influenced by the fact that she spent the first 13 years of her life living in a haunted house in Jackson, New Jersey.

One early reviewer of the manuscript called it “A breathtaking story, fast-paced, insanely vivid – just brilliant!” so we definitely looking forward to receiving an Advance Reader Copy of the book this September and letting you all know what we think.

Stay tuned for more details coming out this summer!

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL - Author Interview with Helen Johnston

Author Interview with Helen Johnston - book two of the Journey of Innocence Series, Innocence Reclaimed.

Where were you born and where do you call home? I was born in Southampton, Hampshire, and it’s still where I call home.
Tell us about something that has just happened or is about to happen in your life that you would like to share.
I never thought I’d turn down a publishing contract but I found myself doing just that this week. They just couldn’t offer me what I need at the moment.

How many books have you written?  If more than one, are any a series…or trilogy?
This series is a trilogy, and I’ve already written book one of a new series that I’m hoping to get out next year.
What is the name of your most recent book and please sum it up in 50 words or less.
Innocence Reclaimed. 50 words? It’s a continuation of Innocence Lost. We catch up with Siobhan and her new friends and how life is treating her in the French chateau. We wait to see when Blake will make his move and come to her rescue, meanwhile her love for Jarryd is simmering just under the surface.  I think that’s 51 words lol!
If you gave one of your characters in any of your books an opportunity to speak for themselves outside the realm of the story, what would they say?
Blake, the leading man/vampire would probably have a go at me for what Siobhan went through. He always snarls in my head about it.
Do you have plans for a new book?
Book three of this series, Innocence Reclaimed, will be out later this year. And a new set that I’ve been working on should start next year sometime.
What books or authors have influenced your writing the most?
There are so many amazing authors I have read, far too many to name, but I did recently meet Sherrilyn Kenyon, I’ve loved her Dark Hunter books for years so it was an honour meeting her.
Is there an Author that you would really like to meet?
JK Rowling.
Do you prefer ebooks, paperbacks or hardcover?
I think each one has their own merits. For convince I love ebooks, for my bookshelves I love hardbacks, and for just grabbing a book to read paperbacks are what I love.
Where do you prefer to buy your books?
I mostly get my books from Amazon now. Whoever come up with one click needs to be beaten lol, it’s a dangerous tool!
Are you a self- published (Indie) Author?
Yes at the moment I’m self-published, but would love to have the weight of a large publishing house behind me, enabling me to get my books into book shops.
What books would you like to read again?
G A Aiken, the Dragon series.
Is there a particular movie that you preferred over the book version?
No I think books are far better, you just can’t go into the detail that a book can on film.
What book are you currently reading and in what format (ebook/paperback/hardcover)?
I am reading Dan Brown’s Inferno. Paperback, it was on special.
Are there any Authors that have grasped your interest recently and why?
Laurann Dohaner, shes wrote loads but I just love her New Species series. Very hot and sexy, right up my street.
Do you find yourself intrigued by the cover of a book enough to buy it?
I usually look at the cover and read the blurb on the back, then if I’m intrigued I will buy it.

Do you have a book trailer?
I’ve got one for the first book, Innocence Lost, but as of yet, I’ve not got one for Innocence Reclaimed.
What are your thoughts on book trailers?
I love them, they are a great marketing tool. But they are quite pricy to make or to have made for you.
Do you have any advice for other writers?
Don’t do it! Lol, no, just research your genre, and if you’re going to self-publish make sure you know what you need to do before you even pick up a pen or click on your computer.
Do you write under a pen name?  A Yes or No answer is fine.
No
What date were you born? - you can leave off the year if you like.
30th July…
Did you have a favorite toy as a child?
Not really, as a really young child I remember having a space hopper.
An early childhood memory –
Running wild in France while camping with my parents, they travelled around France a lot, and I still can’t speak French!
Do you ever write in your PJ’s?
Most of the time I’m in my PJ’s lol!

Any pets that you would like to tell us about?
I recently lost one of my cats, Jinxy. He was a beautiful male cat and very soft. Wouldn’t hurt a fly. I used to dance around the room, singing with him and he’d get this look of ‘please someone save me.’ I miss him.
What are your favorite food and beverage?
I’m allergic to caffeine so coffee and tea are out for me, I think I’m the only writer I know of who doesn’t soak up coffee. My drug of choice is chocolate, but I’m trying to cut back on that too.
In your case, how many hours do you devote to research and writing per day?
Probably only four to six as I work full time.
What are 4 things you never leave home without (apart from keys, money and phone)?
Business cards, flyers, a pen and notepad.
Sleep in or get up early?
Sleep in, I’m a night owl so my mornings are devoted to me in bed.
Laptop or desktop for writing?
I use a desktop, but started out on a laptop.
Your favorite gadget –
My phone! Id die without it!
Where and when do you prefer to do your writing?
At the moment we are redesigning out dining room, so my study is on the dining room table.  I don’t have a preferred time, I just sit my ass down and do what I can.
Your thoughts on receiving book reviews - the good and the bad –
you can’t please all the people all the time. Due to the nature of my books they aren’t going to appeal to some people. Bad reviews, they hurt I won’t lie, but you just have to switch off to the nasty remarks and carry on. I’m learning all the time and hopefully I’m getting better at my craft.
Where is one place in the world that you would really love to visit someday?
I love love love Vegas, I have been there four times and I would love to go back. I loved it so much I use is in my books. It’s such a busy, noisy, bright place. I’m such a city girl that I could be happy there for weeks on end.

One of your favorite quotes –
Let me be the one to run my fingers through your soul. It just called out to me.
List 3 of your favorite movies?
Beaches, LOTRs, all Harry Potters.
An actor, author or a book character you admire.
JK Rowling.
What is a movie or TV show that you watched just recently and really enjoyed?
The Original’s and Game of Thrones. I don’t really have time to watch TV but those two I make the time for.
If your book was made into a TV series or Movie, what actors would you like to see playing your characters?
*Laughing* I’m not sure my books could be made into movies! They would be on the top shelf made by adult entertainers!
Where can your readers stalk you?
My Goodreads author page: https://www.goodreads.com/author/dashboard
Is your book in Print, ebook or both? Both
